Where are those demons coming from? His soul?
It seems though he's about to set them in his enemy, hehe.
I like this style of drawing, do you use pastel?

I am not a bad girl, even though I do bad things.
gotta say. you brought a smile to this grey soul.
and a lovely piece of text under the well done image. the inversion works well with this and really helps to bring out the lines.
nice work

i comment because i think your art is worthy of being critiqued. not cos i whore myself. not cos i care about being returned the favor. cos *you* deserve it. get it through your heads. if you think i deserve something, thats cool too.
I'm glad you liked it so much. Thank you.

Curse at me. Call me wrath, rat, wraith, wratts evermore.
Call me four times, and devil may knock on your door.
Those demons are coming from behind the mask,
where they had been trapped while it was still on my face (where it is right now). (;
No, I've actually never used pastel so far (can't afford all the cool art tools that are out there

I really like how you turned a simple pencil sketch into something that looks completely Photoshopped. I don't know if that's possible, but that's what it looks like to me. I really also appreciate the way you made the mask noticable as the point where all the demons came from by lighting it up. It adds quite a neat effect.
Steph's rating: 4/5 (lol!)
-There are some lines in there that I would have gotten rid of. (I'm more for the simple look) KISS! Keep It Simple, Stupid!
-I really really like the mask (I JUST noticed, cut me some slack) and the spike on his shoulder is very crisp and sharp looking.
Great job!
-and I correct myself once more. I meant to say that the sketching looks real, but the rest seems like it was really photoshopped. I don't know how to explain. Maybe that's what makes me sounds stupid?

Pencils used were 6H for starting, H for roughening, and HB for making heavier tones.
These were my steps of editing (expressed in ascending order from bottom layer to top):
• Color/Saturization decreased
• Brightness/Contrast modified to darker and blacker tones
• Blotted borders and smudges out with a white airbrush
• Inverted image value (negative)
• One layer with the colors (airbrush/eraser) for Wratts (clothing, skin, etc.)
• Added the glow emitted from the mask (decent white airbrush and erasing)
• Mixed color channels to tilt the color balance minimally towards red.
• Added a simple frame.
You don't sound stupid!
Thank you.
